Nigel Cabourn

MULTI BAG - C/N WEATHER

¥9,900

Product number: 80440061003

Nigel is made of lightweight, thin and durable weatherproof cloth that is resistant to rain and wind and convenient to carry. A multi-bag full of Kei Bon characteristics

This bag is convenient to carry by folding into a compact size.
We use a plain weave structure to make it lighter, but thin plain weaves tend to lack strength, such as tearing.
The reason is that there is only one thin thread running both vertically and horizontally, so if that thin thread breaks, there is a risk that the fabric itself will break.
Therefore, we use a cotton-nylon blend yarn, which is a mixture of short cotton fibers and nylon short fibers, which have far superior strength, to ensure the overall strength of the fabric.
“Weather cloth” is more precisely weather proof cloth.
It is the name of a plain-woven military fabric that is light, thin, and durable so that it can withstand rain and wind and is convenient to carry.

Who is Nigel Cabourn?
A world-renowned collector of vintage military, workwear and outdoor wear. A collection by British designer Nigel Cabourn.
Inspired by his vintage collection of more than 4,000 items collected over 30 years, his collections are timeless and reborn into something new.
It is very distinctive that Nigel himself divides his own designs into British production (authentic line) and Japanese production (main line).
The former mainly uses materials of British origin such as Harris Tweed and Ventile, and includes items produced at Mackintosh factories and knitting factories in Scotland, while the latter includes items only made in Japan. By sorting out unique fabrics that cannot be made and items that utilize dyeing and processing techniques that cannot be realized, we create a collection that cannot be found anywhere else.
