What is DEVADURGA?
DEVADURGA, which designer Hitoshi Shimazaki continues to send out from his hometown of Amami Oshima with a unique sense.
The highest mountain in the Himalayas, Everest, was called Devadurga in Sanskrit.
It means a sacred mountain, the top of the world.
With this meaning in our brand name, we continue to propose a unique outdoor style using mud dyeing and indigo dyeing, which are traditional crafts of Amami, from Japan to the world.
