What is Padmore & Barnes?
Founded in Ireland in 1934, Shoe Factory Padmore & Barnes.
More than 500 staff and hundreds of people around the company have been making shoes at their own plants in Ireland for a long time using their own traditional handmade technology in their homes.
In 1967, the manager at the time devised a revolutionary shoe with full moccasin with hand stitching and proposed it to Clarks in the UK.
Since then, Padmore & Barnes has gained a worldwide reputation in the field of casual shoe innovation, manufacturing technology and design, collaborating with brands such as Paul Smith, Supreme and Anatomica, as a partner factory of Clarks, which has undertaken the production of representative models such as Wallabies and Natalies from the British era.
